Eula Estelle Sherman

Eula Estelle Sherman, age 95 of Fisher, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born July 24, 1918 in Hardy CO., WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gottlieb Woerner & Beulah Estelle (Bergdall) Woerner. Her husband, Paul W. Bun Sherman preceded her in death in May 2007. A daughter, Brenda Whetzel and a sister, Velma Hutter, also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Surviving is a son, Eugene (wife Martha) Sherman of Metter, GA; a son-in-law, Carl W. Corky Whetzel of Fisher, WV; five grandchildren, Robbie, Jenny, Kim Ben & Joe and seven great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Taylor, Walker, Maggie, Avery, Abby & Addison. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Rebecca VanStavern officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
