Elva Lee Weese

Elva Lee Bobo Weese, age 80 of Fisher, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 26, 2014 at her residence. Born November 13, 1933 in Kessel, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Marion Bobo and Grace Lee (Kuykendall) Bobo. A farmers wife, she was a Leader for the Kessel White Eagles 4-H club and was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Fisher, WV. Her husband John P. Weese preceded her in death in October 1992. A sister, Ruth Mongold, also preceded her in death. Surviving is a son, John H. Weese of Fisher, WV; two daughters, Brenda L. Weese of Fisher, WV and Beverly F. Eye of Fisher, WV; two brothers, James Omer Bobo of Moorefield, WV and Junior Bobo of Fisher, WV; two sisters, Sue Moyers of Moorefield, WV and Mammie Ratcliff of Arthur, WV; eight grandchildren and a great grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Fisher, WV with Pastor Rebecca VanStavern officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street in Moorefield. Memorials may be directed to the Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
