Elmer Richard Eckard

Elmer Richard Eckard, age 62 of Fork Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, October 11, 2004, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born January 9, 1942 in Sugar Grove, WV, he was a son of the late Alfred R. & Anna Mae (King) Eckard. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Dianna (Varner) Eckard; two daughters, Melissa Eckard of Phoenix, AZ and Doris Ayers of Moorefield, WV; three brothers, Teddy Eckard of Milam, WV, Charles Eckard of Fisher, WV and Delmas Eckard of Elkton, VA; four sisters, Anna Calloway of Spartansburg, SC, Thelma Sherman of Petersburg, WV, Bertha Calhoun of Upper tract, WV and Vicki Losh of Brandywine, WV; and four grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted at the Obaugh Funeral Home with the Rev. Shannon Mullins officiating. Interment followed at St. Michaels?s Lutheran Cemetery in Sugar Grove, WV.
