Ella Carpenter

Ella Carpenter, age 73 of North River Road, Baker, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 5, 2004 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 10, 1931 in Calhoun Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late Mallie C. & Icy (Smith) Carpenter. Her companion, Bernard Stump preceded her in death in May 2001. Surviving is a son, Peter Patroni of Egg Harbor, NJ and a daughter, Barbara E. Galliger of Atlantic City, NJ. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, August 8, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Mary Radford officiating. Interment followed at the Asbury Cemetery in Bean Settlement. Memorials may be directed to the Mathias-Baker Rescue Squad or the Fraley Ambulance Service.
