Elizabeth Whitecotton

Annie Elizabeth Liggett Whitecotton, age 74 of Old Fields, WV passed away Friday evening, June 20, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born April 6, 1929, in Hardy County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Lang Weese and Anna Dale (Simmons) Weese. She is preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson and one sister. Surviving is her Husband Cecil C. Whitecotton of Old Fields; one son Raymond ?Butch? Liggett of Moorefield; two sisters Eula Plaugher and Clara Belle Liggett both of Moorefield, WV. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 23, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Alton Lee officiating. Interment followed at the Newhouse Cemetery at Rig, WV.
