Edwin "Jock" Eugene Whetzel

Edwin Eugene Jock Whetzel, age 68 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning at the Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. Born May 15, 1942 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Jack & Ruby M. Susie (Whetzel) Loyd. Surviving is a son, Billy Ray Self of Petersburg, WV; a sister, Betty Pratt of Moorefield, WV; and a brother, Gerald Butch Loyd of Akron, OH. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. with Pastor Jonathan Leininger officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services at 2:00PM.
