Edna Ruth Vetters, age 97 of Lee Street, Moorefield, WV formerly of South Fork Road, passed away Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV. Born March 2, 1919 in Pemberton, OH, she was daughter of the late Cory Carl Clark and Florence Edith (Davidson) Clark. Her husband, Melvin R. Ted Vetters preceded her in death in January 1974. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki L. See, a son, Robert C. Vetters, a granddaughter, Cathy Jo Gheen, a great-granddaughter, Jessica Pearce, two brothers and five sisters. She and her husband owned and operated Teds Place near Bass on the South Fork Road for many years. She was a member of the Bass United Methodist Church. Surviving is a daughter, R. Ruthie (Billy Junior) ONeal of New Carlisle, OH; one sister, Geraldine Callison of Fairborn, OH; a daughter-in-law, Donna J. Vetters of Moorefield, WV; nine grandchildren, Brian J. (Margie) ONeal, Robin M. (Chuck) Williams, Heidi J. Fields, Shelia Collins, Dora (Bob) Fertig, Gayle (Donnie) Sherman, Belinda (Travis) Weatherholtz, Gary G. (Becky) See, II & Jeremy R. See; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and twenty-eight great-great-grandchildren. The family extends a special thanks to caregivers Megan Delawder and Amanda Mongold for the wonderful care and assistance to Edna. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with the Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
