Dwight Oren Kessel

Dwight Oren Kessel, age 81 of N. Elm St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 13, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born October 16, 1927 in Hardy Co., WV he was the son of late Thelma G. (Smith) Keplinger and step-son of the late William Keplinger. Dwight worked for ROCCO for 24 years and for Barr?s Gas. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Midge (Carr) Kessel; a son, Kevin L. Kessel of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Karen Stump & Janice Miley of Moorefield, WV; a half sister, Phyllis Crites of Fisher, WV; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
