"Dump" Simmons

Rolland Seymour ?Dump? Simmons, age 82 of Jenkins Run Rd, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2011 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born June 6, 1928 in Rig, WV, he was the son of the late John S. & Mabel V. (Barr) Simmons. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Emma Jean (Hepner) Simmons; two sons, Brad Simmons & Brian Simmons of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Susie Dolly of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Elva See of Ridgeley, WV; four grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with the Rev. Ron Bowyer & Rev. Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites Accorded by the US Army at Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
