Douglas Edward ?Doug? Loften, Sr., age 63 of South Fork Rd, Moorefield, WV; passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born July 10, 1945 in Troy, OH, he was a son of Ruth (Loften) Cost of Moorefield, WV and the late Orville Cost. He was a self employed building contractor. A sister, Diane Stevens preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Jane (Marshall) Loften; a son, Douglas Loften, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; three daughters, Susan J. Bosley of Old Fields, WV, Candy F. Lambert of Arthur, WV & Cynthia M. Loften of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Danny Cost of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Rhonda McNeill of Old Fields, WV; twelve grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Fraley Funeral Chapel, 107 Washington St, with Pastors Dan Howard & Dan Sterns officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 pm Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Chapel.
