Donald Michael Dent

Donald Michael Dent, age 79 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, April 15, 2020, at the V.A. Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. Born on September 7, 1940, in West Newton, PA, he was a son of the late Alvin Elijah Dent and Ruby Opal High Dent. Two brothers also preceded him in death.

Donnie was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion. Donnie enjoyed reading and his favorite hobby was deer hunting.

Surviving is a son, Michael (Bridgette) Dent of Purgitsville, WV and his longtime caregiver, Kathy A. Dolly Dent.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside rites will be held with Military Honors by the U.S. Army and the Mooreifled Veterans Honor Guard at the Old Pine Cemetery, Purgitsville, WV.
