Dewayne D Liggett

Dewayne D Liggett, age 58 of Brandywine, WV passed away Thursday morning, May 16, 2019 at his residence. Born on May 27, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington, he was a son of the late Roy “Toby” Liggett and Clara Belle Weese Liggett. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 70 of Washington, DC for 37 years. Dewayne was an outdoorsman whom was called Grizzly Adams occasionally and enjoyed bear hunting, fishing, bear hunting, turkey hunting and bear hunting, what can we say, he really did enjoy bear hunting!

Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Terri A. Harman Liggett; his furry four legged friends, Gus, Branch, Trixie, Ellie, Rain, Kenzie and Tru; two sisters, Ginger (husband Joe) Smith of Fisher, WV and Ethel (husband Steve) Bobo of Moorefield, WV; special cousins, “Butch” and Roxie Liggett; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A private service of remembrance will be held at a later date at which time his cremains will be scattered per Dewayne’s wishes.
