Derrick Wayne Grapes

Derrick Wayne Grapes, age 20 of J.C. Crider Road, Old Fields, WV, passed away Thursday evening, March 29, 2007 at his residence. Born May 21, 1986 in Cabarrus Co., NC, he was the son of Deborah (Fink) Thomas and husband Roger D. Thomas, Jr. of Salisbury, NC and the late Ralph E. Grapes. Surviving in addition to his mother is his maternal grandmother, Margaret Fink of Concord, NC; his paternal grandfather, Ike Grapes of Salisbury, NC; two half-sisters, Jessica Thomas and Candice Thomas of Salisbury, NC; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Derrick has been cremated and services will be held at a later date by his family in North Carolina.
