David Randolph Mitchell

David R. Mitchell, age 73 of Romney, WV formerly of Luray, VA, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2005 at the Hampshire Memorial Hospital in Romney, WV. Born June 7, 1932 in Washington, DC, he was the son of William A. & Lillian E. (Mobley) Mitchell. Surviving are two brothers, William Mitchell of Rush, CO and Walter Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Jean E. Snyder of Huntingtown, MD and Shirley Hudson of Burlington, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Pastor Robert Jeffreys officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Mr. Mitchell has been cremated. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service on Sunday.
