David Constable

David Watson Constable, age 62 of North River Road, Baker, WV, passed away Thursday evening, July 4, 2024, at his residence. Born on January 22, 1962, he was a son of the late Thurston Waldo Constable and Ida Mae Bane Constable. A sister, Dianna Hose also preceded him in death.

Dave was a hardworking man, known for his skills in roofing and contracting with his business, Dave’s General Contracting, which he ran for over three decades. Dave loved the outdoors, especially hunting and spending time at his camp with his brothers. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, as well as playing music on his guitar in his spare time. Family was extremely important, watching those grandsons play ball meant everything to him.

Surviving is his loving wife of 38 years, Lisa Annette McDorman Constable; a son Eric David (Felicia) Constable of Baker, WV; two grandsons, Noah & Tucker; four brothers, Wayne Constable of Kirby, WV, Eugene Constable of Moorefield, WV, Blaine Constable of Broadway, VA & Jeff Constable of Moorefield, WV; and a sister, Mildred Gray of Wardensville, WV. He will be remembered by his extended family, friends, and community.

Funeral Services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Russell Webster officiants. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories from 5:00 PM until time of services.
