David Allen Coby

David Allen Coby, age 60 of Dover Hollow, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, February 9, 2022 at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on September 6, 1961 in Winchester, VA, he was a son of Alma Lee (Shockey) Coby of Moorefield, WV and the late Glenn Allen Coby. Anyone who knew David, knew he was a tinkerer. He enjoyed working on anything that had a motor and he was all about his cars.

Surviving is a sister, Lisa Coby of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Rodney Coby of Moorefield, WV; a nephew, Corey Coby a member of the U.S. Air Force currently in the United Arab Emirates and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Jonathan Leininger officiant. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 – 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
