Dale Albert Wilson

Dale Albert Wilson, age 84 of Moorefield, WV passed away Saturday morning, September 6, 2003 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born September 29, 1918 in Hardy Co., WV he was a son of the late Jacob & Mary (Cain) Wilson. He was a veteran of the US Army of WWII, a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion, and was a retired employee of Rockingham Poultry. His wife, Odessa (Hose) Wilson preceded him in death in December 1985. Two brothers, five sisters, two half-brothers and one half-sister also preceded him in death. Surviving is a son, Chester D. Wilson of Purgitsville, WV; two step-daughters, Wilda George of Moorefield, WV and Hartzelle Hinkle of Doracs, WV; a special friend, Mabel Wolfe; and a number of nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with the Rev. Charles Snyder officiating. Interment followed with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Olivet Cemetery.
