Curtis William ?Buddy? Wratchfrord, age 74 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, May 6, 2010 at his residence. Born July 25, 1935 in Grant Co., WV, he was the son of the late Homer W. & Nellie (Reel) Wratchford. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, a Lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #6454 of Petersburg, WV and a member of the John M. Golliday Post # 64 American Legion. He had been employed as a Security Guard for Pilgrim?s Pride. A brother preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Margy (Stump) Wratchford; three daughters, Mary White, Tina Thompson & Paula Crites; a son, Don E. Crites, Jr.; seven grandchildren, J.R. &Chris Bell, Jodi & Drew White, Natasha Crites, Tara Blizzard & Eric Crites; five great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Christopher & Landon Bell, Carter Thompson & Demarcus Richards; five brothers; three sisters and two special young ladies, Jackie Kirtz & Trina Duck. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Jimmy Stump, Jr.& Charles Snyder officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at Walnut Grove Gardens near Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family, P.O. Box 826, Moorefield, WV 26836.
