Conway Summerfield See

Conway Summerfield See, age 89 of Central Avenue, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, May 2, 2006 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born January 3, 1917 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Albert J. & Roxanna V. (See) See. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie (Goldizen) See in December 1997. Three brothers also preceded him in death. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion and the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 V.F.W. Surviving is a step-daughter, Alice Eye of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Clyde M. ?Mack? See, Sr. of Old Fields, WV; a sister, Gladys Neff of Inwood, WV; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Olivet Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Thursday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Memorials may be directed to the charity of choice.
