Cleland Wilkins

Cleland Eston ?Cleal? Wilkins, age 85 of Jefferson Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, January 7, 2004 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born January 17, 1918 he was a son of the late Richard E. & Dottie (Kelley) Wilkins. He was a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church, where he was an Usher and a member of the Men?s Bible class. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Miller Wilkins in October 1987 and a special friend, Katherine Hinkle Wilkins in January 1998. Surviving is a son, Delmas Wilkins of Woodbridge, VA; a step-son, Hansel Barbe of Old Fields, WV; three daughters, Elda Smith of Moorefield, WV, Dee Hudson of Kingman, AZ and Nola Rodgers of Lexington Park, MD; a sister, Beulta ?Ann? Sterner of Hanover, PA; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 2 -4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Mr. Wilkins will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Co.-46, 112 Kuykendall Lane, Moorefield, WV 26836.
