Clarence Maxwell High

Clarence Maxwell High, ?Max? age 82 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Sunday morning, December 12, 2010 at the E. A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born December 5, 1928 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Clarence U. & Effie P. (Miller) High. Three sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his companion of many years, Pauline Friend; two sons, Clarence High, II of Lahmansville, WV and Danny High of Old Fields, WV; a daughter, Barbara High of Burlington, WV; a step-daughter, Rebecca Sites of Burlington, WV; a brother, Theodore High of Franklin, WV; two sisters, Nellie Ryan of Old Fields, WV and Dorothy Marie Sherman of Petersburg, WV and seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gwen Wolford officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
