Clara Isabelle Wratchford

Clara Isabelle Wratchford, age 69 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, April 23, 2004 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born September 14, 1934 in Hardy Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late George A. High, Sr. & Beulah (Miller) High and a step-daughter of Lorraine (Nesselrodt) High of Purgitsville, WV Her husband, Moses B. Wratchford preceded her in death in November 2002. Surviving are four sons; Marvin Wratchford and Allen Wratchford of Moorefield, WV, Steven Wratchford of Louisville, KY and Michael Wratchford of Norfolk, VA; three daughters, Judy James of Bunker Hill, WV, Carol Zirk of Moorefield, WV and Mary (Kathy) Berg of Maysville, WV; one brother; George A. High, Jr. of Purgitsville, WV; two sisters; Georgia Smith of Moorefield, WV and Peggy High of Purgitsville, WV; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Knotts officiating.
