Charlotte Ann Crites

Charlotte Ann Crites, age 72 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, April 6, 2021 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on November 21, 1948 in Petersburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Franklin Shockey and Katie Flo Wolfe Shockey. She was preceded in death by a son, Stacy W. Crites; a son-in-law, Timothy Mooney and two brothers, Ray Shockey and Roger Shockey.

After retirement, Charlotte enjoyed watching soap operas, listening to Floyd Kramer, working crossword puzzles and reading.

Surviving is a daughter, Crystal Mooney of Moorefield, WV; a son, Jason E. (Elizabeth) Crites of Edinburg, VA; three sisters, Eleanor (Jeff) Orndorff of Columbia, MD, Rebecca Shockey of Moorefield, WV and Susan (Freddy) Whetzel of Moorefield, WV; three brothers, Kenny (Lavaughn) Shockey, Paul (Laura Jean) Shockey and Harry (Teri) Shockey all of Moorefield, WV; three grandchildren, Kari Beth Runion, Katie D. Stump and Emalee Kelly; four great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 5:00 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Dan Howard officiant. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until time of services at 5:00 PM.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, wearing of masks, temperature checks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
