Charles William Kuykendall

Charles William Kuykendall, age 62 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday evening, January 14, 2008 at his residence. Born February 4, 1945 in Peru, WV, he was the son of Julia (Whetzel) Kuykendall Runions of Petersburg, WV and the late Edward S. Kuykendall. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 V.F.W., attended Moorefield Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Little Mountain Hunting Club. A sister and a half-sister preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Clara Mae (Southerly) Kuykendall; a son, Dale Kuykendall and wife Donna of Fisher, WV; a brother, Dailey Kuykendall of Milam, WV; a sister, ?Katie? Cullers and husband Charles of Elkton, VA and two grandchildren, Taylor & Emily Kuykendall. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
