Charles Allen Funkhouser

Charles Allen Funkhouser, age 73 of Morningside Drive, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 22, 1931 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Raymond & Elva (Pennington) Funkhouser. He was a member of the Moorefield Church of Christ. Surviving is his wife, Lillian (Wilson) Funkhouser; a son, Chris Funkhouser of Farmington, WV; two daughters, Debbie Hefner of Moorefield, WV and Cindy Thomas of Martinsburg, WV; a brother, Wayne Funkhouser of Winter Garden, FL; four sisters, Erma Coffman of Winchester, VA, Eileen Dove of Petersburg, WV, Janet Kelley of Herndon, VA and Carol Shockey of Moorefield, WV and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Moorefield Church of Christ with Evangelists Warren Kenney & Dan Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6- 9 PM Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Mr. Funkhouser will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to services on Monday.
