Charles Hammond Clower

Charles Hammond Clower, age 86 of Trough Route, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, February 18, 2004, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born December 26, 1917 in Hardy County, WV, he was the son of the late Elsworth H. & Blanche (Weatherholtz) Clower. Preceding him in death is his wife Martha Ella (Mayhew) in February 2002; three sons, Andy Clower in May 1976, Joe Clower in November 1985, Leonard Clower in January 2003; a sister, Mary Francis Timbrook and three brothers, Ralph Junior Clower, Thomas R. Clower and James B. Clower. Surviving is a son, Gary Clower and wife Marguerite of Romney, WV; three daughters, Nancy Fellers and husband Homer of Levels, WV; Laura Mayle and husband Donald of Winchester, VA and Patricia Wolford and husband Harry Joe of Romney, WV; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment followed at St. Luke?s Cemetery on River Road near Romney. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
