Cecil Carl Whitecotton

Cecil Carl Whitecotton, age 84 of Old Fields, WV and formerly of Franklin, WV, passed away Sunday morning, February 13, 2005, at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born April 6, 1920 in Crab Bottom, VA, he was a son of the late Saul & Jane (Simmons) Whitecotton. He was preceded in death by his first wife Eloise Calhoun Whitecotton and his second wife Annie Liggett Whitecotton. Surviving are two daughters, Romaine Landes of Moorefield, WV and Sue Whitecotton of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Fraley Funeral Home with Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Interment will follow with graveside services at 2:00 PM at the Bluegrass Cemetery, Bluegrass, VA. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield.
