Cecil Eugene Myers

Cecil Eugene Myers, age 73 of Lee Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, September 27, 2020 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on December 8, 1946, he was a son of the late Cecil Isaac Myers and Rosie Eleanor Hose Myers.  A great-grandson, Demetria Swick and a sister Virginia “Sis” Mongold also preceded him in death.

Cecil enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting in his earlier years when able. Afternoons after retirement were spent with the “coffee gang” at Sheetz. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watching NASCAR on television but his most prize was the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandy Wratchford of Moorefield, WV and Delta (husband Joseph) Harris of Moorefield, WV; five grandchildren, Tyson Wratchford, Tyler Swick, Davey Wratchford, Kristen Wratchford and Aaron Harris; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Grover “George” (wife Sandra)Myers of Moorefield, WV and niece Debbie Combs of Wardensville, WV.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
