Catherine Damie Hose

Catherine Damie Hose, age 85 of Laurel Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, February 25, 2007 at her residence. Born August 5, 1921 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late James F. & Rebecca A. (Cain) Combs. Her husband, Bythina Hose preceded her in death in December 1978. A granddaughter, a great-grandson, a son, five brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, Rodney Hose of Moorefield, WV & Layman Hose of Wardensville, WV; a daughter, Margel Bellis of Moorefield, WV; a brother, ?Overton? Combs of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Ruby Maynard of Columbia, MD & Minnie Dority of Moorefield, WV; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren with Pastors Donnie Knotts & Donnie Kesner officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 9 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
