Catherine Virginia Bourne

Catherine Virginia Bourne, age 78 of Fisher, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Hadley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. Born October 26, 1930 in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Earl & Leona (Parsons) Barr. Her husband, George M. Bourne preceded her in death in January 1997. A daughter and a sister also preceded her in death. Surviving is her daughter, Barbara Ann Mitchell of Edgewood, MD; two grandchildren, Steven Mitchell & Roxanne Mitchell; a sister, Ella Mae Sears of Maysville, WV and a brother, Alfred Barr of Morgantown, WV. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services at 2:00 PM.
