Carolyne Lynn Brooks

Carolyne Lynn Brooks, age 51 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, January 3, 2020 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on April 13, 1968 in Warwick, NY she was a daughter of the late Keith Frank Brooks and Betty Jean Evans Brooks.

A 20+ year employee of Walmart, Carolyne was very out-going and had a huge heart. She took care of others before herself and she always fought for her family. An animal lover, she took in every stray that showed up on her doorstep. Her idle time, she played computer games.

Surviving are two sons, Brandon Brooks and Elijah Jackson of Moorefield, WV; a niece (like a daughter), Lillian Brooks of Moorefield, WV; two brothers, Wayne & Linda Brooks of Petersburg, WV and Ashley Brooks of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Yvonne & Larry Orden of Sussex, NJ and Andrea & Dave Fellman of Port Jervis, NY; and two nephews, Chris Narfria and Marcus (fiancé Christina) Irbarren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in New York.
