Calvin Larry Cosner

Calvin Larry Cosner, age 83 of US Highway 220 South, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, September 3, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 21, 1920 in Bismark, WV he was a son of the late Sanford & Nora (Moreland) Cosner. His wife, Peggy S. (Parsons) Cosner preceded him in death on June 26, 2003. A brother and a sister also preceded him in death. Calvin was retired from the American Woodmark Corp. and was Brethren by faith. Surviving is a daughter, Darlene (Cosner) Southerly of Moorefield, WV; three brothers, Glenn Cosner of Moorefield, WV; Tony Cosner of Rig, WV and Clyde Cosner of Keyser, WV, a grandson, Dwight Clower of Ranson, WV and a great-granddaughter, Allyssa Clower of Ranson, WV. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Dan Howard and Pastor Don Knotts officiating. Interment followed at the Idleman Cemetery, Scheer, WV.
