Burnell Minnie George

Burnell Minnie George, age 78 of Rig, WV passed away Thursday evening, December 11, 2003 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born October 24, 1925 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Ora & Fannie (Cleaver) Riggleman. She was a member of the Oak Dale Christian Church. Her husband, Dennis M. George preceded her in death in February 1999. Two brothers and a sister also preceded her in death. Surviving is a son, Winfred ?Wimp? George of Rig, WV; two daughters, Karen Combs of Rig, WV and Marsha Shockey of Moorefield, WV; three sisters, Alice M. Carr of Rig, WV; Lillian Carr of Rig, WV and Safronia Ours of Petersburg, WV; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, December 14, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with the Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment followed at the Newhouse Cemetery at Rig, WV.
