Bruce Allen Kesner

Bruce Allen Kesner, age 54 of Forest Glen Drive, Moorefield, WV passed away Friday afternoon, November 13, 2015 at his residence. Born October 10, 1961 in Petersburg, WV he was the son of Herman L. Kesner, Jr. and Linda K. (Kile) Kesner of Moorefield, WV. He was a 1980 graduate of Moorefield High School and a member of the Moorefield Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M. Bruce was the type of person that could light up a room. He had a carefree attitude that could bring joy to anyone in his presence. His glass was always half-full; his passion for life could be witnessed in everything he did. He touched so many with his one of a kind spirit. He found so much joy in the simple things: hunting, landscaping, and working with his hands. He lived every moment to the fullest; trying new things, doing for others, and planning jokes. His world was his family and friends, giving all to those that needed him. He started a career in insurance in 1983 with his father-in-law LaMar Sager working as Vice President of Sager Insurance Agency. In 2004 he began working as Vice President of Summit Insurance Services where he remained until the present date. He is survived by his beloved wife Tami Sager Kesner, his two sons Ryan and Lukas, and three grandchildren Kash, Piper and Adeline. He is also survived by his siblings Loy Kesner and Donna Kesner Riggleman. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Sarah Hartman & Elva Borror, Uncle Dwight "Dike" Kile and father-in-law T. LaMar Sager. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Petersburg First Baptist Church, 112 Virginia Avenue with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Gardens, Route 55, Moorefield, WV.
