Brandon Corey Weese

Brandon Corey Weese, age 30 of Clarksburg, WV, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, December 18, 2020 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on April 1, 1990 in Winchester, VA, he was a son of Angela Mae Alexander (husband Steve) Dawson of Moorefield, WV and David Edward (wife Tina) Weese of Moorefield, WV.

Brandon was a loving and devoted father; his daughter Arayah was his whole world. He had a love for music and playing his guitar. His favorite place to be was outside especially at the beach or kayaking on the river with his family. Brandon loved animals; and his dog Gus went everywhere with him. He had a goofy personality and the kindest heart and will be missed every day.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his fiancé, Bailey Spears; a daughter, Arayah Weese at home; sisters, Corinne (Kris) Wariner of Clarksburg, WV, MaeBeth Fisher of Morgantown, WV and Amanda (Tim) Riffle of Lost Creek, WV; brothers, Jackson Weese of Moorefield, WV and Steven R. (Heather) Dawson of Clay, WV; maternal grandparents, Marlene Alexander and the late Theodore “Gene” Alexander of Petersburg, WV and Linda & Bill Keller of Fisher, WV and paternal grandparents, Roy & Dorothy Weese of Moorefield, WV.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Private Services will be held with Chris Whetzel as officiant. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, temperature checks, wearing of masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home at all times.
