Brandi Renae Baker

Brandi Renae Baker, age 38 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her residence. Born on August 13, 1982 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of Melvin Edward “Bud” Baker, Jr. and Judy Ann Davis Baker of Fisher, WV.

She was a graduate of Moorefield High School Class of 2000. She loved all sports and excelled in Basketball, Volleyball and Softball.  As a freshman in high school, she played on the basketball team that went all the way to state, her nickname was “bake45”.  She loved her children and her family. 

She had a special Aunt Pam (that preceded her in death), and she would always visit her and take the children up to brighten her day. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved nature and was always enjoying the beauty and peace it held.  She would go above and beyond to help people and was employed at times with home health which she enjoyed.

Her son, Londan Quaid-McKenzi Baker preceded her in death and her daughter, Saige McKenzi Baker-Brewer passed away the following day.  She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Melvin and Juanita Baker, her maternal grandparents Ralph and Estelle Davis Vance and James Davis Sr., nephew Casyn Hunt and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Surviving in addition to her parents is three sisters, Chantell (Mike) Coby, Leslie (Kristopher) Jenkins, Megan Baker (Will Hunt) all of Moorefield, WV. 6 nieces, Nicole, Samantha, Ashley, Courtney, Faith and Addison.  1 nephew, Noah.  1 great niece and 1 great nephew and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Believer’s Victory Center, 160 Victory Lane, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Gary Shirk, Jr. officiant. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM.
