Boyd Allen Shoemaker

Boyd Allen Shoemaker, age 81 of Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 29, 2005 at his residence. Born May 30, 1923 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. & Kathryn L. (Strawderman) Shoemaker. He was preceded in death by a grandson, three brothers and three sisters. Surviving is his wife, Hazel E. (Sions) Shoemaker; three daughters, Dollye Benson of Upperville, VA, Brenda Reel of Rig, WV and Kathy Roop of Front Royal, VA; a sister, Nora Shoemaker of Baker, WV; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Monday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
