Billie Jo Whiteman

Billie Jo Kesner Whiteman, age 56 of Brighton Ave., Moorefield, WV passed away Monday evening, September 11, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on January 31, 1961 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of John Peter Baker and the late Gladys Mae Hose Greenwalt. She was raised by Blanche & Bill Shockey, was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion Post #64 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her mother, a grandson, Preston Lewis preceded her in death. She enjoyed her family and helping others. Surviving is a son, Joseph R. & Denise Kesner of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Raven R. & Paul Vinoski of Moorefield, WV; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her companion, Gerald Jay Turner; two brothers, Ronald Kesner of Petersburg, WV and Daniel Kesner of Moorefield, WV and three sisters, Delores Smith, Barbara Shockey and Tanga Belt all of Moorefield, WV. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Matt Lyon and Rev. Bruce Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
