Beverly Irene Carr

Beverly Irene Carr, age 58 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 4, 1950 in Wheeling, WV she was a daughter of the late Charles M. & Beatrice I. (Beaman) Yakubow. She was a member of the Oak Dale Christian Church where she was a member of the choir, a Sunday school teacher and a youth leader. She was a retired schoolteacher from Hardy County Schools and was actively involved as a leader in the 4-H and the Girl Scouts. Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Dalton ?Bun? Carr; a daughter, Jennifer McGregor of Moorefield, WV; two sons, James Carr and wife Amy Dzien of Winchester, VA and Brian Carr and wife Karen of Martinsburg, WV; a brother, Michael Yakubow of Moorefield, WV and three grandchildren, Madison, Ryan & Jackson. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Oak Dale Christian Church with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the Oak Dale Christian Church, 3989 Rig Road, Moorefield.
