Betty Mae Southerly

Betty Mae Southerly, age 74 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, December 13, 2007 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born May 18, 1933 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Edgar B. & Flossie C. (Wolfe) Southerly. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin & Paul Southerly and five sisters, Berlyn Crites, Hazel Stump, Mary V. Stump, Thelma Crites & Ruth Hambleton. She was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sisters, Roberta Porter and husband Curtis of Petersburg, WV and Nancy Hambleton and husband Adrian of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Wayne Southerly and wife Genni of Old Fields, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home.
