Betty Joyce Snyder

Betty Joyce Snyder, age 74 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday evening, July 14, 2014 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born April 5, 1940 in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Lee Lunsford and Ada Bell (Adams) Lunsford. Six brothers preceded her in death. She was a loving and caring mother who also loved to spoil her grandchildren. She had such a passion for playing piano and singing at her church. She also loved baking, cooking, canning and flower arranging. She was a very giving and loving woman who put others before herself. Surviving are three sons, Darrin (Betty) Brininger, Doug (Sherry) Brininger and Shawn (Angie) Bowen all of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Violet Nuckels of Kingsport, TN; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Moorefield Assembly of God Church, Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Frank Myers officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services
