Betty H. Hinkle

Betty Hedrick Hinkle, age 77 of Old Fields, WV passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born June 23, 1924 in Moorefield, WV a daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Grace (Vance) Hedrick. She was preceded in death by twin brothers. Surviving is her husband, George Hinkle; 2 daughters, Kathy Beasley & Gloria Hughes of Old Fields, WV; 3 sisters, Juanita Harbaugh of Niceville, FL, JoAnn Snyder of Romney, WV and Joyce Hardy of Moorefield, WV and 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 PM, Friday, June 21, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery at Old Fields. Betty was a lifelong member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren, a retired school teacher with the Hardy County Board of Education with 40 years of Service. She was a member of the National Education Association, a member of the Hardy County Retired Teachers and a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
