Betty Madeline Helmick

Betty Madeline Helmick, age 76 of Lee St., Moorefield, WV passed away Friday evening,August 23, 2002 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born September 22, 1925 in Old Fields, WV she was a daughter of the late Richel & Effie (Bosley) Kessel. Mrs. Helmick was a member of the Bible Baptist Church at Fisher, WV and was retired from Hester Industries in Moorefield. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Helmick in July 1991, she was also preceded in death by 1 Brother & 1 Sister. She is survived by 3 Sons, John J. Helmick of Fisher, WV; Jerry Helmick of Old Fields, WV & Joe Helmick of Purgitsville, WV; 1 Daughter, Jean Dasher of Jacksonville, FL; 4 Sisters, Geneieve Southerly of Old Fields, WV; Rama Wolfe of Old Fields; Velda Wolfe of Old Fields & Lovella Hose of Moorefield; 4 Grandchildren & 2 Great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, August 25, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Matt Lyon officiating. Interment followed in the Crites-Helmick Cemetery at Kessel, WV.
