Berlyn Crites

Anna Berlyn Crites, age 88 of Lee Street, Moorefield, WV passed away Wednesday evening, December 11, 2002 at the Hampshire Memorial Hospital in Romney, WV. Born May 12, 1914 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Bates & Blossie (Wolfe) Southerly. Her husband Brook Crites preceded her in death in June of 1997; she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, two sisters, one brother and one foster granddaughter. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Smith of Moorefield, WV; Pat Riggleman of Fisher, WV; Chloe Riggleman of Prince Frederick, MD & Anita Bosley of Old Fields, WV; Brothers, Wayne Southerly of Old Fields, WV & Paul Southerly of Charleston, WV; Sisters, Mary V. Stump of Moorefield; Ruth Hambleton of Moorefield; Nancy Hambleton of Moorefield; Roberta Porter of Petersburg, WV and Betty Southerly of Petersburg, WV; a Foster Son, John Martin of Moorefield; Foster Daughters, Vickie Shook of Petersburg, WV; Mary Alice Lahman of Charleston, WV & Linda Osmond of McClean, TX; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 7 foster grandchildren and 1 foster great-grandchild. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren with Pastor Otis ?Buzz? Weatherholt officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Smith, Mike Riggleman, Chris Sites, Dan Weatherholt, Steve Davis and Anthony Shook II.
