Benjamin Harold Eakle

Benjamin Harold Eakle, age 76 of South Fork Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, March 8, 2015 at his residence. Born July 1, 1938 in Harrison Co., WV, he was the son of the late Harvey Lewis Eakle and Katie Louava Vincent Eakle. A son, a great-granddaughter, four brothers, four sisters, several nephews and nieces and a great nephew preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Lou (Anderson) Eakle; four sons, Benjamin Bucky Eakle, Jr and Michael Eakle of Moorefield, WV, Jerry Eakle of Huttonsville, WV and Terry Lee Eakle of Braxton Co., WV; three daughters, Patricia Eakle and Margaret Long of Moorefield, WV, and Louella Lambert of Burlington, WV; a sister, Elizabeth Hobert of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Charlotte Parsons officiating. Additional visitation and services will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home in Nutter Fort, WV on Friday and Saturday with interment to follow at the Union Cemetery, Mt. Clare, WV.
