Alice Marie Riggleman

Alice Marie Riggleman, age 73 of Mayberry Drive, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on February 13, 1946 in Moorefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late John Cleal Raymond Wratchford and Effie Lee Mayhew Wratchford. Her husband, Herman Albert “Butch” Riggleman preceded her in death in May 2016. A brother, Bennie Wratchford also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Oak Dale Christian Church.

Alice enjoyed gardening, flowers and vegetables. At the end of the growing season, she enjoyed canning her harvest. With her bounty, she enjoyed cooking for her clan. She embraced time with her family, especially cookouts and movie night with her grandsons.

Surviving is a daughter, Leslie (Jeremy) Parsons of Moorefield, WV; three sons, Wesley (Becky Larew) Riggleman of Mt. Storm, WV; Gordon (Raynetta) Riggleman of Petersburg, WV and Adam Riggleman of Moorefield, WV; five sisters, Edna Sutton of Baltimore, MD; Lillie Cassell, Martha Heavner, Becky Alt & Damie Carr all of Moorefield, WV; three brothers, Raymond Wratchford, Jr., Tommy Wratchford and Frank Wratchford all of Moorefield, WV; four grandsons, Jamie Earl Taylor, Kelton Riggleman, Michael Parsons & Matthew Parsons and a great-grandson, Rennick Riggleman.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiant. Interment will follow at the Riggleman Family Cemetery, Mayberry Drive, Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
