Alec Judy Zirk,

Alec Judy A.J. Zirk, Jr., age 52 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, May 24, 2007 at Heartland of Keyser in Keyser, WV. Born November 27, 1954 in Petersburg, WV he was the son of Marjorie (Smith) Zirk at Old Fields, WV and the late Alec J. Zirk, Sr. He was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and worked as a track supervisor for the South Branch Valley Rail Road. A.J. was an avid outdoorsman and accomplished hunter, his true love was his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Abel L. Zirk at home; a daughter, Alicia L. Zirk at home; two sisters, Margaret Newton of Moorefield, WV & Jacqueline Zirk of Old Fields, WV; a nephew, Colby Zirk and a niece Emily Newton. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Fraley Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Simon officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services. Private Graveside services were held at St. Lukes Cemetery, Romney, WV on Sunday May 27, 2007.
