Adam Crites

Adam Crites, Jr., age 85 of Manassas, VA, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at Novant Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. Born on August 30, 1927, he was the son of the late Adam Crites, Sr. and Bessie Bobo Crites. Junior was born & raised in Moorefield, WV, and lived there until the 1960's when he moved to Northern Virginia for work. He always loved West Virginia and hoped to move back some day. He loved carpentry, woodworking, tractors and westerns. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather." Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Wanda Jean (Crites) Crites; four children: Karen Parker of Manassas, VA, Kathy Vaillancourt and husband Glen of Casanova, VA, Eric Crites and wife Lisa of Front Royal, VA and Michelle Crites of Centerville, VA; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Rig Assembly of God Church, 10 Queens Drive, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Crites-Eye Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services at the Rig Assembly of God Church.
